'Cliffs at Portgain' (showing 19th century industrial ruins on skyline) Pembrokshire coast, West Wales. Painted sitting on the rocks, an uncomfortable position which I'm sure left a lasting impression on my behind!
(30 x 24 cm. Oil on panel)
Hi Andrew, you have captured the coastline brilliantly. Those gentle curves of land and cut rock... love it! I've been looking at your stained glass work too. Amazing! Thanks for the comments you left on my blog.
we just came back from our fourth pembrokeshire trip this year,it is great seeing that beautifull coast line back in your paintings! 'Cliffs at Portgain' is a spectacular painting,i'll be back to check out more of your work. Rob
Hi Rob, Thanks for commenting - I don't get to Pembrokeshire that often but would dearly like to go more if I could. It takes time to tune in to the change of environment - was just getting 'tuned in' when time ran out!!
Andrew,
ReplyDeleteYou have rich and beautiful plein air work. I enjoyed seeing it.
Love,
